Message From Leslee on 10/27

We want a special thank you this week to Willow Rock Animal Hospital in Rocklin. Allyson's dog Cocoa became ill Friday evening and we took her to Willow Rock. They gave her wonderful care and operated on her Saturday a.m. She is doing well and is at home. Allyson is so grateful to the care they

provided. They contributed their services and I am so thankful to have friends and classmates that helped us during this difficult time. Thanks again.

To the employees at Gap, Inc. Thank you so much for the personal visit and the wonderful gifts of love. We know how much Don loved each and everyone of you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Here is an update on the family that came directly from Leslee on 10/27.

Christopher-doing great. No facial scarring and he is looking forward to his

CT Scan to clear him to return to school mid-November. He is doing one hour

per day of "at school" work and one hour in the afternoon. Chris wants to

thank anyone that was praying for his recovery. Good news. He took a test

that he missed during his hospital stay and got 100%, he wanted to prove

that his memory was all there!

Allyson-got her braces off today and looks wonderful. She is still nursing

her broken shoulder blade, but with physical therapy will recover after 6

mos. She is also looking forward to her visit with a plastic surgeon this

week to follow up on necessary surgeries on her face and arm. She is looking

forward to returning to school in a few weeks. Although cheerleading will

have to take a break, she will still dress out with her teammates and

support them.

Ashlynn- has been back at school and even rode a bus for a field trip to the

pumpkin patch. Her knee injury is healing nicely and she has been back a

cheerleading practice. Ashlynn is such a trooper!

Leslee-all the staples/stitches removed and feeling much better. I want to

personally thank the hundred of people that have assisted our family in one

way or another. Many of you continue to assist us daily and we are forever

grateful. Our lives are permanently changed by our tragedy, but somehow we

feel closer to our family, friends and neighbors. We truly love each and

every one of you. For all the gifts/money we have received to date, we truly

appreciate your generosity. I wish there was a way to write each and every

person that has helped us, but I feel that it will be impossible to make

sure everyone is contacted individually. We continue to make progress each

day and take one day at a time.”
